In fact I joined the US Navy when I was a ripe old 17 years of age. Because of my life long military experience I’ve had dozens of homes…in 11 countries… and lived long term in 5 states in the US And because I have lived in so many places and changed schools so often as a kid…I had to learn…and learn REALLY FAST…how to get along with people. And people from ALL WALKS OF LIFE. I can sit down and have some sake with my friend in Tokyo…or pop open a can of suds and fish Lake Dardanelle with an Arkansas “redneck” buddy of mine…makes no difference… More importantly…I became really good at reading people, understanding what makes them “tick” and even got to a point where I could influence their behavior and actions. In fact, I got quite good at doing this, so good in fact that I was the “go to” guy whenever my friends had just about any kind of “people problem”…I kind of felt like the male version of “Dear Abby”… Maybe you even know someone a little like me?…someone that you go to when you have “people problems”… Anyway…I got a ton of practice …

]]> Long story short, I broke up with him,dated someone else for a couple months(guy ended up moving away) and seeing as i was w/ someone else it made me realize how GOOD my ex was. I ended up downgrading in guys if you get what I mean… I want to get back w/ my ex bf but he’s upset about me being w/ the other guy(totally understandable)
I know I’m in the wrong here and he probably doesn’t deserve someone like me who has relationship issues but I really fear of being alone and i miss him. How can I get him back??

People who say you don’t deserve him… well, nobody’s perfect and I’m sure as good as this guy might be, I’m sure he was with other girls before he was with you and you accepted that.

Maybe you can ask him if given time, would he consider going back with you? That you want him back?

And of course, looks MATTER. Look your best, make him want you back. Whatever he says, live your life like you’re happy with or without him and have all your stuff together, don’t lose hope on getting him back but don’t count on it either (or you’ll be disappointed). Know that everything works out for the best, if he doesn’t come back to you, pray/hope that there’s a better guy out there.

I know that right now I just broke things off with someone and I really wish I hadn’t. :/ He wasn’t right for me, and there are better guys out there, not just in terms of character and face and body, but he was the commited type and now, ironically, I remember the good stuff of the relationship whereas before I just saw the negative. Now, it’s complicated, but things are definitely over and he’s moved on, even looking at other girls in front of me! It hurts, but then I think to myself… we really had no chemistry anyway. It’s not fair to use him like that. Plus, he needs a lot of love. (long story)
still… if anything, get a counselor. i heard those help in those relationship issues. Tho honestly, I think EVERYONE, even you ex must have relationship issues so say to yourself. "I’m no less than anyone else."

I know how you feel, I never realized how lonely I felt before. Hardly any friends, but my own choice. Then, he basically becamse my bestie and now… it’s like, i learned a lot about myself with him, tho he was pretty arrogant and condescending.

Not that he was all bad but..yeah

I met this guy at this pool a few weeks ago and I liked him alot and after 4 days we started going out. Everything was great, things were going perfect. But I have to admit I did act a little weird, bitchy, moody and a bit out of charactar when I was around him but only because I was really nervous. Anyway, one day I came back home from a good day out with him and his mate Luke who I think likes me, and he was on msn but he was being really moody to me and I knew something was wrong, Luke just said, oh Connor is just tired, he does still like you but he’s had a few late nights and stuff and there after a while Connor said to me, I’m trying to put this the nicest way possible but i don’t want to go out with you anymore, sorry, I asked why and he said I hardly see you and becasue of my paper rounds and things ( which isn’t true, he does see me about 3-4 times a week)! To be honest I don’t know what’s going on, he said all these great stuff to me which i know he meant, he can’t just leave me like that? I miss him so bad and I love him so much, please don’t tell me to move on because I can’t and I wont :’( </3
i haven’t spoken to him since the break up ( 2 weeks ago) and if I do ring him, I really don’t know what to say, please help? x
I was thinking I could do paper rounds with him or move to the school which is next to his?

He came back.. I didn’t do anything special.. I went out with another guy even though I didn’t really like him, he went out with a different girl too. Then he came back saying he was missing me and realized how much he loved me.

]]> It is a long story so I will just shorten it, if there any details you need to know just ask. Me and my ex were doing great till he started having trouble at home *his parents always fight and sometimes took it out on him*. So he said he needed some space because he couldn’t handle a relationship, but then told me to move on as he didn’t want me to be dragged into his problems and didn’t like me just to ‘wait around for him’.

Of course I was very upset as I really liked him, and I couldn’t just get space from him as we both go to the same college and art department. But I tried giving him space. Just sometimes we can be like adults, smile to each other when we meet. Or he can just ignore me and act like I’m not there.

Also lately he has started to talk to me but would just call me crazy, only because I’m just having fun with my friend or act very depressed. Some reason he got it in his head I’m always sad just because of him. The thing is I got a lot of issues at home as well but I been trying to sort it out, so it does upset me when he calls me crazy and the fact he thinks he still the center of my world. He been acting weird since the breakup too *most of the time is by himself, doesn’t seem to enjoy himself etc* but I don’t have a go at him because I know he is having a hard time, but I don’t want to seem ‘clingy’ either.

What should I do so I can help myself and my ex? Also are there any tips on getting him back? is there anything I should avoid or done wrong?
