My ex and I broke up a year ago.
We’ve stayed in contact since then but its been up and down.
Hes been with someone else for a while now, about 10 months. He got with her 3 weeks after it finished with us, he didn’t know her when we broke up. So I guess it was a rebound that stuck?
We talk regularly and we both initiate contact equally.
I’ve realised I’m still in love with him and want to get back together.
Without giving any more information, how do you think I could go about getting him back?
And please don’t say "move on" because thats not what I’m asking.

Well, since it’s been a year, and you’re both talking equally, there is only one thing to do. Tell him that you still love him and want to be with him. If he says he does not want to break up w/ his girlfriend then you need to stop talking to him. It will only hurt you to be stuck on him! On the other hand, if he loves you and wants to still be with you he will dump her and be with you!!! Just don’t stick around if he says he wants to stay with his current gf.
just tell him how you feel. if its meant then he will feel the same way. good luck
