my ex wants to get back together with me, what do i tell her to let her down easy?
her boyfriend just died and had his funeral yesterday and i told her if she needed to talk that i was here for her and we talked for a bit then she kissed me. I wasn’t born yesterday and i know she wants to get back together with me for emotional support but its not very good relationship-building material. so how do i let her down easy without making her more emotional?

put it simple, yet soft. there’s a reason she’s your ex. tell her you aren’t interested in a relationship with her, but you are willing to be there for emotional support. let her know that you are aware of what she’s trying to do, she might not notice it 100%. she might be slightly blinded by the trauma of losing a loved one.
